How to read your Arena saddle's serial number
Your saddle's serial number can tell you its age, seat size and model. Here's a simple guide to reading the key information from your Arena saddle's serial number.
If you're looking into a second-hand saddle, please note there's no way of telling from the outside whether any alterations have been made. Ask your local Arena Saddles stockist if you have any concerns.
Where to find the serial number
The serial number is on the underside of the saddle flap, on the side that sits next to your horse or saddle pad.

Saddle age
The first two numbers of the serial number show the year your saddle was made. For example, 19 means 2019, 20 means 2020, 21 means 2021 and so on.
Seat size
The last two numbers show the seat size in centimetres. For example, 43 cm is 17", 44 cm is 17.5" and 46 cm is 18".
Model
The model is stamped on the underside of the saddle flap, near the Arena Saddles logo or the serial number. AP means All Purpose (now called General Purpose) and DR means Dressage.

Saddle systems
All Arena saddles feature HART: Horse and Rider Technology, shown by the HART badge under the cantle.

Specialist conformations
Saddles made for specialist conformations have W for Wide (Cob) or HW for High Wither stamped on the saddle flap.
