Arena Cob Dressage
Classically finished in European leather, this dressage saddle is shaped for cobs and broader horses with wide conformation, for training and competition alike. You feel close through your seat and leg, so your aids are easy to give, and a front Flexibloc with a padded knee insert supports your leg through schooling and tests.

For you
- Seat size depends on your build, the length of your thigh and the riding you do, so compare with a saddle you already find comfortable.
- If you are between sizes, try both if you can, or ask your saddle fitter or stockist.
For your horse
- Fit is about comfort, balance and how your horse moves, not one number on a chart, so we would always start with a qualified saddle fitter you trust.
- The width can be changed with the EASY-CHANGE Gullet System WIDE, so you or your saddle fitter can adjust it as your horse changes shape.
Measurements are a guide only. They are rounded to the nearest 0.5 cm and then converted to inches, and the organic shape of saddlery means small differences between pieces are normal.

I have WIDE gullets from my Arena Wide saddle. Will they fit?
Yes. Arena Wide saddles are now called Arena Cob, and they still use the EASY-CHANGE Gullet System WIDE (1XW to 4XW), so the WIDE gullets you already have will fit.Can I use standard EASY-CHANGE gullets in this saddle?
No. This saddle uses the EASY-CHANGE Gullet System WIDE, so it takes WIDE plates (1XW to 4XW) only. Fitting standard plates can distort the tree and is not covered by the warranty.Will the Arena Cob Dressage fit a very wide horse?
It is designed for wide conformation and adjusts across four WIDE gullet sizes, from 1XW to 4XW. No saddle fits every horse, so have a qualified saddle fitter check it on your horse.Can the CAIR cushions be adjusted?
No. The CAIR cushions are never adjusted themselves. Panel depth and balance are changed with the EASY-CHANGE Riser System, which sits in a separate pocket, and opening the CAIR security tape voids the warranty. -
Approximate weight: 6.0 kg/13.2 lb. Weights vary a little by size and options. Fitted with a 2XW (lilac) gullet from the EASY-CHANGE Gullet System WIDE, and it takes WIDE gullets only. The EASY-CHANGE Gullet System WIDE: Complete Kit, EASY-CHANGE Riser System: Standard Pack and EASY-CHANGE Gullet Gauge are available separately, as are a girth and stirrup leathers. - Clean the leather with Arena Glycerine Soap to remove surface dirt and oil, let it dry, then condition it with Arena Leather Balsam.
- Both come in the Arena Leather Care Pack.
